Darren established himself in the 80's as New Zealand's pre-eminent blues guitarist, writer and showman with his band Smoke Shop. At their peak Smoke Shop were one of the country's hottest live attractions. Since Smoke Shop's demise in the early 90's Darren has continued to front his own bands. His performances and recordings are world class.
